A Meissen Monkey band group
of a monkey playing a small keyboard instrument, riding another monkey, wearing a wig, claret coat and breeches, on a tree stump mound base moulded with scrolls, blue crossed swords mark -- 12.7cm. high, late 19th century (tail broken and re-stuck, chip to one finger of supporting monkey, minor firing faults); and a Meissen salt supported by two boys wearing 18th century dress on a pierced mound base -- 15cm. high (extensively damaged, some pieces lacking)
