A Meissen ornithological rococo mustard-spoon
Circa 1745
The shallow shaped oval bowl painted with a bird perched on a leafy branch surrounded by insects, the shell-moulded underside and slightly fluted waved handle painted with insects, with a scroll-moulded terminal moulded with foliage (the bowl with minute rim chip, minor wear to enamels of insects on the underside of handle)
