A Meissen oviform teacaddy and a cover
BOTH CIRCA 1730, TEACADDY WITH PAINTED INVENTORY NUMBER
Painted in a bright palette, probably by J.E. Stadler with a vignette of a figure between attendants, terracing and flowering shrubs below a bird in flight, the cylindrical cover with a flower-spray above a purple and iron-red diaper-pattern band reserved with demi-flowerheads (chipping to footrim, minute chip to edge of cover)
