CIRCA 1740, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARKS, GILDER'S MARK S. TO ALL

Each piece finely painted in colours with figures on the quayside, building and outfitting ships and seated on bluffs overlooking harbors within elaborate gilt and black Laub-und-Bandelwerk cartouches and scattered flowers, the inside of the teacups and the sugar-bowl cover with double red line, all with gilt Laub-und-Bandelwerk rims, some wear to gilt rims, comprising:

A teapot and a cover, cover unmatched, handle cracked, 4¼in. (10.8cm.) high overall
A hot-milk jug and cover, chips to cover rim and finial, 5 7/8in. (16cm.) high
A sugar-bowl and cover, handle restored, cover chipped, 4 1/8in. (10.5cm.) diam.
Two coffee-cups, one with minute nick to rim
Two teacups, one with restuck rim flake
Four saucers (12)
