CIRCA 1740, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARK, PRESSNUMMER 16
Painted after an engraving by Petrus Schenk with a bearded Oriental figure in a winged hat and a smaller bearded man standing in a landscape before a fence with a palm tree and pine trees, junks and mountains in the distance, a bird and insects in flight above, the border with flowerheads and flower-sprays within a shaped brown line rim (minute blemish to rim, the well with some rubbing to enamels)
