The brick-red field with stylised boteh, floral motifs and delicate floral vine, the ivory mihrab arch above containing stylised floral vine and jewellery motifs, in a hooked lozenge and zigzag frame between barber-pole and mill-pattern stripes, in a broad aubergine lozenge and floral motif border, with ivory and reciprocal zigzag outer stripes, plain kilim strip at each end, small area of repair
