With rectangular Italian specimen marble top in an illusionistic border, the frieze inset with a coat-of-arms of Lord Gort, on panelled legs

Lot Essay

The arms are those of Gort impaling O'Grady, for John, 3rd Viscount Gort, and his wife Maria (d. 1854), daughter of the 1st Viscount Guillamore.
