UNDERGLAZE BLUE QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER SEALMARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-95)
Finely painted in early fifteenth century style with blossoming branches alternating with blossoming and fruiting branches of peach, pomegranate and gourd, between a band of upright petals below and ruyi and key-fret bands around the shoulder, the base of the neck with a band of scroll-filled petal-lappets, the bulbous mouth encircled by a band of chrysanthemum scroll, the spreading foot ringed by spume-flecked waves
