Circa 1840, pattern number 3672, the plates impressed M
Painted in the Sèvres style with exotic birds perched and strutting among trees, flowering plants and grasses within a broad pink-ground oeil-de-perdrix border edged with gilt diaper-panels, scrolls and foliage beneath a shaped gilt dentil and line rim, comprising:
Two circular sauce-tureens, covers and stands (one base cracked, one cover cracked and one finial lacking)
Two circular footed dishes, each on a lobed circular foot (one riveted) Two shaped oval dishes
Two shaped square dishes
A circular dish (damaged)
Thirty-four plates (one with crack to centre, another cracked across and repaired)
