A MOLDED DINGYAO BOWL
NORTHERN SONG-JIN DYNASTY, 11TH-12TH CENTURY
The bowl has rounded conical sides and is molded on the interior with four peony blooms surrounded by scrolling foliage. The bowl is covered with a glaze of ivory tone below the metal-mounted rim, and there is some pink and grey staining to the glaze below the rim on the exterior.
