The bodhisattva seated in bhadrasana holding the right hand in abhayamudra, dressed in long robes tied at the waist and draped over the legs leaving the feet exposed, the face with a serene expression and framed by long pendulous ears, the hair neatly arranged into a high chignon

The Collection of Gregory & Mia Henderson
Gregory Henderson was a renowned author and Harvard professor, specialising in Korea. The Hendersons lived in Seoul from 1958 to 1963 when Mr. Henderson served as Cultural Attaché at the U.S. Embassy and where he acquired most of the pieces in his collection.
