A MYCENAEAN POTTERY SPOUTED KALATHOS

With two horizontal handles below the rim and a spout emerging from just below the rim with circular aperture into the vessel, the flattened rim decorated with chain of lotus buds painted in umber, the interior with two broad bands below the rim, the exterior with frieze of large tongues between the handles and spout and bands around the rest of the body, the flat base with sets of concentric circles
