A MYCENAEAN POTTERY THREE-HANDLED JAR
CIRCA 1350-1300 B.C.
The compressed hemispherical body with short neck, everted flat rim, three small loop handles around the shoulder, and a flattened base, the rim, neck and handles painted dark brown, a painted band around base of neck, a broad painted band of waves around the body below which two narrower plain bands, concentric circles on the base, minor restoration to rim and below one handle
