Early 19th Century
The fluted ovoid body with acanthus-leaf cup and rope-twist moulded rim above a panelled foliate arabesque frieze, the whole supported on three addorsed dolphins joined by a pearled triangular clasp, on a canted traiangular fluted platform with acanthus-spray clasps and on tapering toupie feet, one foot replaced, the dolphins' foliate tails entirely of gilt-composition and probably replaced, traces of green underpainting
