With two-stage barrels each turned at the muzzle and chiselled and gilt girdle, octagonal breeches each inlaid with engraved foliage in silver and struck with gold-lined maker's stamp, a gold-lined split cross mark and three gold-lined fleur-de-lys marks, gold-lined touch-holes, engraved tangs, engraved partly chiselled bevelled locks each with gold-lined mark, carved walnut full stocks (minor defects), engraved iron mounts including spurred pommels each with oval cap chiselled and gilt with a female portrait bust, trigger-guards each with further mark (gold lining incomplete on one), and one original ramrod (the other missing)
