A pair of 19th century scrimshaw whales teeth
[unsigned], both engraved and polychromed in colors with an ancanthus in the form of a figure eight, the first with a bouquet of flowers and a bird in the cneter of each circle; the second with a ship and a girl with a dog looking out to sea in the center of each circle.
