With swamped two-stage barrels with mouded girdle and a moulding at the rear of the breech, engraved tangs, signed rounded locks engraved with foliage and with double-line borders, moulded highly figured rootwood full stocks (one fore-end tip expertly replaced) each with raised apron at the barrel tang, iron mounts including pierced and chiselled interlaced serpentine side-plates, and spurred pommels engraved with foliage, baluster ramrod-pipes, and iron-capped ramrods (some surface pitting, some engraving refreshed), London proof marks
