A PAIR OF 56-BORE GERMAN FLINTLOCK PISTOLS

With reblued tapering barrels inlaid with silver strapwork and each signed in silver on the sighting flat, silver fore-sights and silver-lined rectangular maker's stamp (Neue Støckel 7717) on each breech, touch-holes each with later platinum lining, shaped tangs numbered respetively '1' and '2' and each fitted with back-sight, signed rounded locks each with moulded border, figured walnut full stocks (cracks and bruises) each carved with scrollwork in relief, shaped iron mounts including solid side-plates, and horn-tipped ramrods (not a pair)
