A PAIR OF BOW FIGURES OF 'NEW DANCERS'
CIRCA 1765
Each standing with arms outstretched and wearing a feathered hat, he in a pink jacket, yellow waistcoat and blue trousers reserved with gilt-edged panels of pink flowers, his companion in a pink and blue bodice, yellow and pink-striped and flowered skirts and an apron to match his trousers, each on a circular base moulded with rococo scrolls and applied with flowers and leaves (her left hand restored through wrist, restoration to fingers on his left hand, chipping to hats and leaves and flowers on bases)
