A pair of Brussels faience owls and a stoneware bird
Circa 1750, marked with B for Philippe Mombaers manufacture
Naturalistically modelled in relief, painted in manganese-red, yellow and vert de gris, the seated owls with a snake curled around their heads, with later glass beads applied to the eyes, and a salt-glazed stoneware polychrome bird perched on a ball above a terraced pedestal
