A PAIR OF CELADON-GLAZED GILT-MOUNTED QUINTUPLE-NECK VASES
18TH-19TH CENTURY
Each globular vase is surmounted by one central neck surrounded by four shorter tubular necks. The sides are finely carved with a wide band of floral meander between decorative borders and further carved on the necks with upright leaves. Each vase is covered overall with a glaze of soft-green color and raised on later-added gilt-bronze mounts.
