CIRCA 1815, IRON-RED CROWN, CROSSED BATONS AND D MARK

Of cylindrical form with everted rim and circular foot, painted in rich colours with flowers and gilt scrolls (gilding worn, small chips to edges, everted mouth of one restored, that of the other cracked)--5¼in. (13.3cm.); together with a Stevenson & Hancock inkstand, cover and stand, puce crown, crossed batons and S-H mark, of cylindrical form with fitted ink pot and domed cover, painted with roses on a gilt striped ground (ink and cover cracked and stained, some wear to gilding)--5in. (12.7cm.) diam. of stand; and a Stevenson & Hancock waste-bowl painted with flowers within gilt edges--4½in. (11.4cm.) diam. (4)
