The mounts with Mark of C.J. Begeer, Kon. Utrechtse Fabriek van Zilverwerk, Utrecht, 1897, the labels with mark of Petrus Lentz, Utrecht, circa 1897
Each pear shaped and with spiral fluting, the silver mounts cast and chased with putto within fruiting grapevines and foliage scrolls all on a matted ground, on a foot cast with openwork rocaille scrolls, with a reeded double scroll handle, the detachable cover with a cast putto finial, the base applied with a plaque stamped with a name, each with a label similarly cast and engraved 'JENEVER' and 'COGNAC', marked on cover, on body, on foot and on label
