A pair of embroidered handscreens, of octagonal shape finely embroidered in coloured silks, partly in chenille work with oval vignettes of two pilgrims with a cleric and a lady, possibly Erminia, carving initials on a tree, the borders embroidered with cornflowers and other flowers, with turned wooden sticks - 17in.(43cm.), probably Lyons, circa 1800
