Each with channelled frame the padded back and seat covered in patterned buff-cotton, on baluster turned legs, the rear seat rail with the Palace of Fontainebleau inventory brand, the seat rails inscribed with a variety of numerals, one stencilled 'T. PERRELLE'

Château de Fontainebleau, almost certainly commissioned for Napoleon I.
