in gilt-metal, the nozzles atop arbours issuing foliage finished with porcelain flowerheads above arched arbours containing Meissen figures of Cupids modelled in disguise, one as a gardener, with reel of twine and shovel, the other as a fruit-seller, carrying a basket of his wares, both above pad bases applied with flowers, enriched in colours and gilt, with blue crossed swords marks, set above scrolling gilt-metal bases -- 6½in. (16.5cm.) high, the porcelain figures 18th century, the metal mounts and flowers later (the figures with chips, some flowers lacking to the mounts, other minor damages and wear)
