A PAIR OF FRENCH 'JAPONISME' ORMOLU AND ENAMEL SIX-LIGHT CANDELABRA

Each trellised candlearm surmounted with cloud motifs and issuing dragon heads suspended from an octagonal tapering capital cast with dragons, supported by a baluster steam with cream enamel ground with corresponding trellis motif and patchwork scenes of flora and fauna, mounted with a dragon chasing a flaming pearl, on four tête d'éléphant feet above a square base on four further cloud-form feet, drilled for electricity
