A PAIR OF FRENCH ORMOLU, BLACK BASALT AND WHITE MARBLE BRULE PARFUMS
The basaltware probably Wedgwood and circa 1800, the mounts late 19th 20th Century
Each with domed lid and female finial, above a pierced foliate rim flanked by cockerel handles, the tapering body decorated with Baachanalian putti, above a waisted spreading foot and white-marble base, on a square plinth, restored finial to one cover, one bowl cracked beneath the handle
