A pair of Frstenberg two-handled turquoise-ground ice-pails Circa 1790, blue F and 13 marks, incised 13 to one Painted in puce camaïeu with a shepherdess playing a flute in a meadow and with gallants and companions at discussion and playing musical instruments on terraces, within gilt-edged quatrefoil cartouches below a band of moulded gilt foliage centred by flowerheads and divided at each side by circular handles, below a band of scrolling gilt foliage and gilt rims (chipping to rim with slight retouching to gilding of one, firing and hairline cracks to base of other, slight wear to gilding) 5¾ in.
