A pair of gilt metal mounted Sèvres style vases and covers
of slender tapering form, each painted with a couple in gardens within gilt panels on a dark blue ground, the reverse with a stream in landscape panel, applied with a pierced gilt metal rim between satyr mask handles, the gadrooned cover with artichoke finial, the lower section with a stiff-leaf band above a gadrooned stem and footed base, signed -- 48.8cm. high, late 19th/20th century (slight wear, minor faults to mounts)
