A Pair of Komai Vases
Each signed Kyoto Komai sei and sealed Raku, Meiji period (late 19th century)
Each of octagonal form on four feet, finely decorated in nunomezogan with six panels depicting various sights around Kyoto, flowers and birds, under a foliate band of a flock of cranes in flight, the neck with bands of key-fret pattern and stylised chrysanthemums
Each 16.7cm. high
