The rectangular plates surmounted by an octagonal panel carved in relief with classical figures and flanked by sphinxes and flower urn crest, one struck 'A', the other marked 'F' to the reverse, each with a blue bordered paper label printed 'BELONGS TO DUKE/PAOLO BADOGLIO/ON LOAN'
