Of bottle form, one painted and hand-tooled in white slip with a sparrow in flight among daisies and rose briar, the other with a wren eyeing platinum and gilt insects among peonies and with a pair of birds locked in a mid-air combat among roses, the neck and foot enriched in foliage edged in the black and gilt, the Chinoiserie base molded with stylized dragons

The hand and design on the present pair of vases is reminiscent to that of Albert-Louis Dammouse (1848-1926).
