CIRCA 1900, SPURIOUS BLUE INTERLACED L'S ENCLOSING E MARK, SPURIOUS PUCE INSCRIPTION OFFERT PAR LE DUC DE LAUZUN A MADAME DE COMPAN TO THE COVERS, SIGNED G. POITVEN
Each with domed cover gilt with rocaille scrollwork, the waisted neck with a musical trophy, flanked by female herm handles with acanthus scroll terminals, painted with figures in the manner of Watteau to one side, landscapes to the other, over a cast berried laurel wreath and canted square base applied with garlands
