A pair of Sèvres style gilt-metal-mounted turquoise-glazed candlesticks
with festooned scones above cylindrical stems painted with portrait busts of beauties of the French court within oval panels, the reverse with monograms, on circular feet painted with similar panels, imitation Sèvres marks (rubbing to gilding) -- 37cm. high; and a gilt-metal-mounted clock modelled as a drum held by a winged putto, standing beside a tree stump on a rocky mound above a circular base (losses to fingers, rubbing to gilding), late 19th century
