and covers, of straight-sided form, painted with continous scenes of cherubs and putti at play in landscapes within turquoise-ground borders enriched with white and red enamel 'jewels' and gilt, with gilt-metal handles, mounts and stands -- 12¾in. (32.3cm.) high, 19th century (some wear and 'jewels' lacking)
