A PAIR OF VALANCES AND A PELMET DATED 1880 The white ground embroidered in coloured silks, the pelmet worked with the monogram 'MA' surmounted by a crown, the date beneath, the field and the valances worked with stylised flowers and foliage, with cord trim to the bottom edges 88 x 26 in. (249 x 66 cm.); the two valences 69 x 12.2 in. (201 x 31 cm.) and 82.5 x 12.8 in. (209.5 x 32.5 cm.) (3)
