A PAIR OF YELLOW-GROUND GRISAILLE-DECORATED JARDINIERES AND STANDS
GUANGXU PERIOD (1875-1908)
Each is of tall, slightly tapering form, and is painted on the exterior in grisaille with sprays of chrysanthemum and leaves, reserved on an even lemon-yellow ground. Each has a three-character Dayazhai mark in black and one iron-red oval seal, tian di yi jia chun, below the everted rim which is decorated on top in blue enamel with Shou characters and keyfrets. Each stand is similarly decorated, and has a four-character iron-red mark, yong qing chang chun, on the base.
