A pale celadon and russet jade carving of a melon
18th/19th Century
with smaller melon attached to leafy tendrils and a butterfly to one side, wood stand, fitted box -- 2½in. (6.3cm.) wide; and a small pale celedon jade carving of a boy seated on a double gourd with a toad on his right shoulder, fixed wood stand, fitted box -- 1½in. (3.8cm.) high, (minute nibbles to one).
