A parcel-gilt silver clock in original leather case
Apparently unmarked, probably Vienna, second half 19th Century
On four claw feet with enamelled scrolls above, the plinth with multi-coloured enamel foliate scrolls and flowers, the base with lapis lazuli, the clock on spreading base decorated with further multi-coloured enamelled foliage and flowers, the hinged face cover applied with a band of circular saphires, flanked by two female figures with long skirts set with rubies and saphires, surmounted by two doves seated on a branch-nest and set with emeralds and seed-pearls, in brown leather fitted case (damaged)
