A PARIS PORCELAIN MATTE BLUE AND GOLD GROUND VASE-FORM CLOCK

The ovoid body supporting a gold-ground cylindrical neck and shoulder tooled with neoclassical motifs and flanked by handles modeled as winged putti holding flaming urns, the white enameled clock dial with Roman numeral hour markers, the reverse painted with a seated putto feeding a chicken in a cage, surrounded by chicks and in a gilt ciselé landscape, above a reticulated lower body and a square biscuit foot with gilt masks and swan standards
