KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARKS IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
The exterior of the box is covered with a glaze of pale mushroom color shading to pink and speckled in dark olive-green above an irregular line of crushed strawberry-red color at the foot rim, and the exterior of the cover is covered with a finely speckled glaze of soft greyish- rose color. The glaze on the interiors has a faint blue-green tone.
2 7/8 in. (7.2 cm.) diam.
