CIRCA 1630-40
With a two-piece skull joined by a narrow comb, fitted with iron plume-holder, studded with lining rivets around the base, incised with double-line panels over the sides, large broad down-turned brim with recessed border struck with two marks, studded with lining rivets and the edge and the comb each finished with a plain turn (some lining rivets missing).
