Italian, probably Sicilian, early 18th Century
The casket decorated overall with floral Lacca Povera surmounted by a trapezoidal pediment with urn finials, above scrolling acanthus crestings and herm pilasters issuing a floral garland, on a stepped moulded plinth and foliate feet, minor losses to the decoration and the extremities, the figure of the Christ child with two fingers missing
50cm. high x 56cm. wide x 31cm. deep, the wax figure 30cm. long
