BY THE IMPERIAL PORCELAIN FACTORY, ST PETERSBURG, LATE 19TH CENTURY
Ovoid, centring an oval panel depicting Saint Queen Alexandra in a landscape, within claret border with a gilt arrowed leaf ornament, the reverse painted with a Greek cross centring an image of Christ Pantocrator, within gilt stars and blue rosettes, on pale green ground, the sides decorated with a continuous band of foliate scrolls, the front panel inscribed in Cyrillic 'St Queen Alexandra', unmarked
