Arita Ware, Kakiemon Style, Edo period (late 17th century)
Set on a low ring foot and moulded in eight lobes and decorated in polychrome enamels and gilt over a clear glaze with birds, brush fences and pine, plum and bamboo, the rim painted in iron oxide; underside with five spur marks
