Maker's mark DMS, Lisbon, circa 1820
the ewer of baluster form, with engraved and repoussé foliate scroll motifs, the C handle with similar decoration and a grotesque mask, the basin of circular section similarly decorated, marked on base of ewer and bottom edge of basin - the basin 33.9cm. (13 3/8in.) diameter, 86.3oz. (2,685gr.).
