A QUEEN ANNE SILVER SALVER, London, circa 1709, maker's mark indistinct, marked at edge of field, octafoil, on four bolted, bracket, later added supports, the ground engraved with coat of arms within trelliswork, shell and foliate scroll surround, underside prick engraved with later initials, and with scratch weight 23=15=00--11½in. (29.2cm.) diam., 22.5oz.
