A RARE CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL QUATREFOIL BOX AND COVER
QIANLONG INCISED FOUR-CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The box supported on a short recessed foot, vividly enamelled around the exterior with two archaistic phoenix to either side, the domed tiered cover with four lotus blooms borne on leafy scrolls and surmounted by a gilt bud finial, all reserved on a pale turquoise ground
