A RARE EMBROIDERED CHESTNUT SILK GAUZE CHILD'S DRAGON ROBE, JIFU
LATE 18TH CENTURY
The front and back panels worked in counted stitch and couched gold threads with eight five-clawed dragons confronting flaming pearls interspersed with clouds and beribboned Buddhist emblems above the terrestrial diagram and turbulent waves at the hem, with dark blue facing and cuffs
